ALMOND LATTE

Learn how to make your own almond latte in the comfort of your own home. My rendition is made using almond milk for that creamy texture and signature froth.

I'm buzzing right now because I'm happy to share this latte recipe with my lovely readers.

INGREDIENTS

– chicory – maple syrup – almond extract – almond milk

STEP 1

Divide the brewed chicory into two mugs. Heat the almond milk on medium heat until it's hot (not boiling) and steaming.

STEP 2

Stir in the almond extract and maple syrup. Immediately remove the saucepan from the stove and pour the milk into both mugs.

STEP 3

To make the froth, use a whisk/electrical frother or transfer the ¼ cup of milk into a blender until the milk is light and foamy.

STEP 4

Distribute the froth over both mugs of latte.

NOTE AND TIPS

Be sure to brew the chicory in advance, you want it to be quite strong for a better taste. – To brew the chicory, combine 2 tablespoons of chicory with ½ cups of hot water.
