I’m so glad that the day is almost over. It’s probably not right to wish my day away, after all we only live once and should utilise that time effectively. Well my day was ehhh let’s just say a very slow, boring and monotonous.
The highlight of my day was walking to the park on my lunch break and eating my home cooked meal at work. Other than that, there’s not really a great deal to report. Unfortunately, I don’t have an exciting adventure to share with you that will captivate your full attention.
I suppose I could share with you my trip to the park and how the sun shone brightly. I love walking, as long as the weather is warm and the rain isn’t cascading, Charlene would walk the entire globe if it were possible. Walking is great for mental clarity and a fantastic method to burn calories. I walked for my entire lunch break which is roughly one hour – can you imagine the total amount of calories I burned?
Fast forward to dinner time and as you can see from the picture above I ate some homemade peri peri chicken with quinoa mixed with vegetables. I love peri peri, there’s a Nandos located near to my office, but I’d much rather make my own rendition – it’s healthy and almost identical. Once the recipe has been perfected I shall be so gracious enough to share my once secret recipe.
