Seared Tuna Lettuce Wraps

- 1 large lettuce leaves removed
- tuna drained
- 2 teaspoon of parsley
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 teaspoon of garlic pepper
- 2 tablespoon of tomato chopped or puree
- pinch of chilli flakes
- 1 cup of mixed bell peppers sliced
- 4 tablespoon of olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon of himalayan pink salt or to taste
Place the lettuce leaves on a plate, ready for the seared tuna
On medium heat, add the oil to frying pan and proceed to saute the onion until soft and translucent.
Add the bell peppers and sautee for until they soften (should take a few minutes)
At this stage fold in the tuna then add the tomato puree, parsley and black pepper and garlic pepper, chilli and pink salt to taste
Proceed to sear the tuna for a further 2-3 minutes
Once cooked let the tuna completely cool down before portioning each wrap
