- 1 cup of coconut milk 250ml/8 0z
- 1 cup of spinach tightly packed (100g)
- 1 banana preferably frozen,
- ¼ cup of cucumber roughly chopped (30g)
- 2 medjool dates **optional
- 1 thumb size piece of ginger
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- a squeeze of lime juice
- If you use light coconut milk if you are conscious of the fat content
- Any plant based milk works for this recipe, doesn't have to be coconut milk other nut milk works fine too
- Use frozen spinach if you wish, it cheaper and more convenient for some people.
- Feel free to add any of the listed fruits in additional to the existing recipe guidelines
- Double or triple the batch if you wish to consume over several times a day or for continuous days.
- If making in a large batch store the remaining smoothie in a large container
