Vegan Chocolate Smoothie

Learn how to make this delicious chocolate smoothie. A totally vegan friendly beverage that is perfect to start the day with. This smoothie is packed with lots of energising ingredients that are nutritious and great for the body.

Ingredients

  • cups almond milk (590ml)
  • 2 tablespoon cacao powder (10g)
  • ½ large avocado
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoon chia seeds (24g)
  • 2 tablespoon almond butter (32g)
  • 6 dates
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (0.5g)

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender.
  • Blitz into a smooth consistency.
  • Add the optional topping to your smoothie.

Notes

  • If you don't want to use almond milk then feel free to add Coconut Milk or even Cashew Milk if you want to
  • Choose from the "variation list" to add in additional ingredients.
  • Feel free to have this smoothie as a meal replacement.
  • I highly recommend using frozen bananas not fresh ones as they yield a better texture.
  • Drink your smoothie on the same day and don't leave it to stand overnight.
