Start by trimming the woody ends (if required) and discarding them then rinsing the asparagus spears.
Blot the spears dry with kitchen towel.Brush the air fryer basket with oil.
.Place the asparagus spears in the basket spreading them out evenly.
Brush/spray the tips lightly with oil.Switch the unit on manually temperature 200c/400f for 8 minutes.
Once the asparagus is cooked remove and then garnish with lemon pepper seasoning, garlic granules, pink salt to taste, sesame seeds and optional lemon zest.
