Notes
This recipe makes a quantity of just over one cups worth of powdered sugar.
You can use any type of starch for this recipe i.e arrowroot or even cornstarch.
Feel free to substitute coconut sugar for raw cane sugar instead. I do this based on availability or depnding on what recipe I am making.
Be sure to double or even triple the recipe if needed.
You may notice that the colour of your frosting/buttercream or glaze will be a slightly tanned/light beige colour and not the traditional white porcelain white.
For best results, use a high speed blender or spice grinder to pulverise the coconut sugar.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to several months.
