Ingredients

  • ½ large orange sliced and halved
  • 4 sprigs rosemary
  • 8-10 cups water (1.8-2.3 litres)
  • additional sprigs of rosemary and orange slices for the individual glasses

Instructions

  • Add the sliced orange along with the sprigs of rosemary to a jug/pitcher.
  • Pour the water into the pitcher and leave to steep in a refrigerator for atleast several hours or overnight, for best results.
  • Serve with in glasses or a mason jar (feel free to add additional slices of orange and rosemary sprigs to your individual glasses).

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh rosemary and the actual orange fruit (fresh although frozen slices work too).
  • You can leave the rosemary and orange water steep for up to 3 days, after that period you will need to discard the fruit/herb and drink the water within 5 days.
  • Keep the fruit infused water refrigerated at all times.
  • The amount of rosemary and orange slices that you use can subjective, you can follow my lead or add more for a more cencentrated taste.
  • If you are making a single glass of fruit water then use a straw to sip to separate the fruit/herb from the water.
  • Double, triple or quadruple if required.
