Equipment

  • Large bowl
  • Spatula or large spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 mangos chopped
  • 1-2 large papaya(s) deseeded, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large pineapple chopped and cored, skin removed
  • 1 large watermelon chopped and peeled
  • 6 kiwis chopped and peeled

Instructions

  • Add all of the fruit to a large bowl.
  • Gently mix all everything together using a large spoon or a spatula.
  • Allow the salad to chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving (this is optional).

Notes

  • Make sure to thoroughly wash and peel the fruit ahead of time.
  • Feel free to add additional ingredients such as fresh coconut pieces, guinep (chenette), starfruit, naseberry, hog plum, otaheite apple, golden apple (June plum) if you fortunate enough to have access to them.
  • If you plan to add oxidatised fruit such as bananas/apples etc.. only add them when you plan to eventually serve/consume the salad.
  • This salad is enough for up to 4 people.
  • Any leftovers should be refrigerated and consumed within 2-3 days.
  • You may want to keep the fruit with higher water content such as watermelon separate from the others and only adding when you are serving because it will release more liquid compared to the other fruit.
