    short mango smoothie pin

This mango coconut water smoothie is so simple yet such an equally refreshing glass of goodness. Fresh chunks of mango blitzed with cool coconut water and a hint of ginger.

Are you fedup of drinking your 8 glasses of water a day or maybe you're just looking to try a drink that's super hydrating with a difference?

Well look no further, as this smoothie should quench your thirst!

A fresh juicy mango combined with ginger and coconut water is probably the best drink ever. I know coconut water has an acquired taste but keep in mind I used to hate the taste as a child.

Meanwhile my mom and grandmother would drink the water straight from a young coconut. I grew to love coconut water as I got older and now I drink it almost daily.

This beverage isn't my usual smoothie like my Sweet Mango Banana and Pineapple Smoothie  which contains coconut milk. Instead, it's just a three ingredient drink - no plant based milk is included.

All you need are ripe mangoes, fresh coconut water and a thumb sized piece of ginger. All of these ingredients are highly nutritious and good for your overall well-being.

      Greetings dear Charla!
At last, at last, at last...I FINALLY got my hands on two perfectly ripe mangoes.
Naturally, I tried your mango drink recipe. It was indeed refreshing! By nature,
I find coconut water to be bland, so I really liked the kick the ginger gave it.
      Thanks again for sharing!

      Belated Greetings, dear Charla!
I know, you must think that I've abandoned you...rest assured, that's
not the case. I've been travelling since May and have been out of the
kitchen. So, that's why I've been silent so long. I'm looking forward to
trying this simple recipe before mango season ends. You'll hear more
from me again in the autumn - I promise! 🙂
Until then, keep well and have a relaxing summer.

Hi again Charla! Thanks for thinking of me 🙂 I'm now back in the USA and having fun travelling around, but will be departing for Oman in August. I wanted to make your delicious Mango bev yesterday, but the supermkt mangos weren't ripe enough. Boo! Anyhow, I hope to be able to make this recipe before mango season ends. By the way, your sticky Chicken drumsticks recipe sounds delish! Nutmeg is one of my fave spices. Can't wait to try it out...Wishing you an awesome weekend. 🙂

Hi Ceil. Nice to hear from you again. You certainly travel a fair bit, you should come to England one day if you haven't already. I hope you manage to quench your thirst with my mango drink before the season ends. You will love my nutmeg chicken, looking forward to a follow up from you.
